Disney’s Flower & Garden Festival
To end the week on a good note, lets talk about happy things. I know I have been missing in action for a good few days, but I had many personal issues that have come up and it has been a tough few weeks. Even though times are tough, there is always something good you can learn from the events, such as being grateful for family time.
A couple weeks ago my family, friends, and I went to Disney’s Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. Even though we only stayed a few hours, because of the extreme heat, it was very enjoyable for me. Being with the people I love, at the happiest place on earth, makes you appreciate the time you spend on this planet. Not everything has to be some major event to have a good time. As long as you’re with the people who care about you, then that’s all that really matters.
Just stepping foot onto Disney’s property and seeing the beautiful flowers makes me the happiest person. I’m thankful for this life and being able to go to all of these wonderful places. Even though Disney is in my back door, I will never take it for granted because I know how much some people sacrifice to come to this magical place.
Also, I have to add that Disney defiantly knows how to facilitate for disabled individuals. Almost all of their rides and shows are wheelchair friendly and most of them you can wheel right into the ride and take off. Some rides you may need to transfer, but for the most part you can stay put in your wheelchair. The best part is that they never make you feel different from any other guest.
I can’t wait to go back in the winter months to enjoy all of the beautiful holiday decorations! I’ll see you soon Disney!
