Don’t Take Things For Granted
These past few weeks have been tough to go through. I haven’t been feeling well which made me not have strength to type anything. But even though I wasn’t writing, I did do a lot of thinking. I realized that yes, my health isn’t good but I’m still very grateful for the things I have in my life. I am thankful for my family who has been my rock and my strongest supporters. I am thankful for my friends who have been there every step of the way and have stuck it out with me. I am thankful for the freedom that I have, which we take for granted most of the time. Some people could lose things in a blink of an eye without even realizing it. Things could be much, much worse. So I believe that we should appreciate the small things in life, the things we take for granted. Such as walking, or going to the grocery store, waking up and seeing your puppy every morning, or just being able to be in your own home and in your own bed. Be grateful for all of the small luxuries you have and always be thankful for what you have been blessed with.
Time after time I realize that most things become less important and the smaller things become the most important. I’ve also realized, as you get older you start associating yourself with less amount of people but the correct people.
Life really is a gift and we should appreciate ever part of it. Every step we take teaches us a lesson. Sometimes it may seem like a problem instead of a blessing but in the end you will realize that it made you grow and become a better version of yourself.
